High Viability Cell Sorting for
Single-Cell 3’RNA-seq
We will highlight the importance of cell sample preparation in order to obtain good quality sequencing data with 3’ RNA-Seq. We will review:• The challenges for obtaining high quality data for Single-Cell 3’RNA-seq
• Why low-pressure cell sorting can help preserve cell viability and reduce noise in sequencing data
• How cell sorting was used in neuronal gene expression studies
We will highlight the data obtained in collaboration with UC San Diego in partnership with the Shiley Eye Institute. By combining the WOLF® Cell sorter and Qiagen’s QIASeq® UPX3’ Transcriptome kit, we will illustrate how to isolate single cells for downstream analysis without damaging cells or altering gene expression.
